Works Notification – Pink Lake Road, Esperance

Arc Infrastructure is scheduled to conduct essential maintenance at the Pink Lake Rd Level Crossing, Esperance from Wednesday, 22 July 2026, to Friday, 24 July 2026.

During this period, the level crossing will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Detours are available through Johns St and Milner St via Hearn St, with detour signs and variable message boards in place to assist road users.

While a temporary pedestrian crossing will be made available, pedestrians are encouraged to use alternative routes wherever possible.

This is the first stage in a process to complete essential maintenance and upgrade works on this crossing. By the end of the year, the crossing will feature additional protection measures for pedestrians with the installation of new automated gates in the existing maze.

At this stage we anticipate further works will only require onsite traffic management, and no additional full road closures. We will continue to keep the community informed of our planned works dates and impacts.
