Arc Infrastructure is part of regional Western Australian communities and we want our involvement to be long-lasting, meaningful and positive.

Through collaboration over a longer term, Arc’s Principal Partnerships deliver practical programs that address the unique needs of their communities.

Aimed at children 4-11 years, the Constable Care Safety School is modelled on Perth’s streets, including model heritage buildings, a working rail platform, pedestrian and level crossings, and traffic lights and intersections. The innovative space provides a realistic urban environment where children can practice road, rail and public transport safety skills.

Since 2022, Arc has sponsored over 60 free excursions to the Constable Care Safety School for regional and Perth Metro schools near the freight rail network as part of the Rail Safety Week competition.

Arc has partnered with the Constable Care Foundation to develop ‘Stop In Your Tracks’, a rail safety education program targeted at upper primary and secondary school students. The program includes interactive Forum Theatre performances and a film-based incursion, covering safety and dangers around trains and railways.

During these performances, students engage in facilitated discussions about why young people take risks, before participating in replays of scenarios, examining how external factors like peer pressure influence our choices and behaviours.

Arc’s long-term partnership with Foodbank WA has funded critical food relief needs assessment research in the Wheatbelt. The study provided recommendations on how Foodbank WA could best help those experiencing food insecurity in the area. A pilot program was delivered and food relief offered to towns including Beacon, Cunderdin, Kalannie, Koordan, Northam and Wyalkatchem.

As well as their commitment to improving food security, Foodbank WA is helping to reduce the negative health impacts of food insecurity. Arc has proudly supported Foodbank WA’s Feed and Educate Project through their nom! program, which equips children and families with the knowledge and skills to make healthier food choices, budget effectively, and prepare nutritious meals.

Lifeline WA’s amazing Telephone Crisis Support Volunteers listen to callers without judgment and work with them to explore their options for support.

Telephone crisis supporters undergo almost 180 hours of training over 12 months to enable them to answer calls. The training ensures volunteers are qualified to provide people in need of support with a safe space to discuss their needs, worries or concerns.

Each year, Arc’s support will fund the training and ongoing support of 12 highly skilled Lifeline WA Telephone Crisis Support Volunteers.

Arc’s commitment has supported the ongoing regional expansion of the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre in person and online. This includes T1D Empower, a peer mentoring program for teens living with type 1 diabetes and a CONNECT Regional Program, reducing geographic barriers to accessing type 1 diabetes care.

Type 1 diabetes is one of the most complex self-managed conditions, requiring on average more than 180 extra health-related decisions per day for a person or their carer. The Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre was established in 2015 to ensure no one has to face the condition alone.

The first year of funding for Arc Infrastructure’s current Principal Partnership was allocated towards the purchase of a van for the Deadly Sista Girlz location at Halls Head in the South West.

Arc covered the cost of a full-time Indigenous Employment Mentor in the Kalgoorlie Aboriginal Waalitj Foundation pre-employment program for 2025, which included the provision of a work vehicle and laptop.

In 2026, Arc has funded Waalitj Hub initiatives and services. The funding is being directed towards running Business Builder events and enabling Waalitj Hub coaches to visit communities and ensure Waalitj Hub services are accessible to those areas beyond the Perth Metro region.

This includes building business capability through targeted business support services such as risk management and legal support, marketing and communications, tendering and contract execution, pre-qualification and project compliance.

Zonta House has been providing services for over 40 years, operating a suite of programs to help people facing family and domestic violence, abuse and coercive control (FDV) navigate the support they need in a coordinated, trauma-informed, and empowering way.

Funding from Arc’s Principal Partnership with Zonta House is allocated towards Family Assistance Support and Residence Enrichment Workshops and Activities.

The Zonta House Family Assistance Support program helps to address the specific needs of children and young people impacted by FDV, offering emotional support, ongoing support coordination, and individualised activities aimed at enhancing their wellbeing.

Zonta House Residence Enrichment Workshops and Activities offer a variety of self-care practices that foster physical and mental well-being, cultivate a sense of belonging, and promote personal growth.

Arc has been actively involved with Clontarf Foundation, engaging with students through school visits in the Perth metro area and at the Northam Clontarf Academy.

The partnership funding is directed to Clontarf Academies in our regions, supporting a range of local activities including training programs, camps, excursions, breakfasts, award events, and sporting carnivals.
